The idea of IcyDesign was born on a romantic get-away at Hotel Budir in Snaefellsnes in west Iceland. As I walked with my wife in the raw nature with the mountains, fields and the open sea all around us, I got inspired and wanted to share the beauty with the rest of the world. All around me, hills, cliffs and rocks were telling stories of ancient times, heavy wind, cold winters and warm rays of the sun, that constantly and continuously shapes and moulds the nature. By making art pieces of natures own material, I show my respect to natures own creation and try to capture the energy of it.
